In this atypical and intimate space, in the heart of one of the most emblematic districts of Paris, Île Saint-Louis, I welcome all art lovers and collectors in search of varied artistic discoveries.
The gallery Le 33 mai presents exhibitions either as a duo of artists, with a painter or photographer and a sculptor, or as a collective, always in the search for a beautiful harmony between the artists.
The gallery is an atypical and intimate space, ideal for informal professional meetings.
Team meetings, project presentation, cocktail.

This exhibition brings together two artists with similar sensibilities, yet who express themselves with a captivating singularity. Their works, both distinct and complementary, weave a dialogue between the intimate memory of the body and the pure energy of movement, inviting the viewer to explore the layers of being and emotion.
Anne Girault Bardaud explores painting as an archaeology of being. Her canvases reveal the skin in all its complexity: from the depths of the dermis to the fragile details of the epidermis, each fine line, scar, or suture becomes a narrative trace, a memory etched into the material. The contrast between the dense texture and the fluidity of the medium creates a poetic tension, where life is imprinted in transparency, suggestion, and delicacy. Through her works, she questions the impermanence of the body and the persistence of memories, transforming each canvas into a palimpsest of human experience.
Maïlys Piérard, for her part, captures pure energy, the memory of movement. Her dynamic and vibrant works are born from the audacious fusion of varied techniques. Each piece is an invitation to feel movement, to perceive the invisible through perpetually evolving forms and colors. Her work embodies a quest for authentic expression, where matter becomes the vehicle for a raw and immediate emotion, as if each painted gesture were a memory in the process of being written.
An obvious complementarity
While Anne Girault Bardaud explores the body's memory, Maïlys Piérard celebrates its momentum. Their works, brought together under the title "Memories," offer a sensory and contemplative experience, where skin and movement respond to, complement, and enrich each other.
This exhibition is an invitation to explore the meanders of memory, through two perspectives which, although different, converge in the same quest: to make the invisible visible, to make emotion tangible, and to celebrate the diversity of artistic languages.
