Current exhibit

From November 6 to December 8, Yann Letestu and Gaël Rouxeville trace a horizon line where the call of travel and the power of movement intertwine, offering an exhibition rich in escapism, poetry, and contemplation.

Yann Letestu, a painter, takes us into an "imaginary world of elsewhere." Passionate about the marine world and travel, he creates poetic landscapes on antique nautical charts, which he then mounts on canvas. These supports, imbued with a history, are transformed into dreamlike horizons where the discreet depiction of scenes of life, often linked to the call of the open sea or escape, blends with the abstraction of the elements. His work is an invitation to contemplation, reflecting the idea of a beautiful escape.

The sculptor Gaël Rouxeville, "the artist of the Living Curve," explores the energy of movement in his creations, primarily in wood. With a background in design and cabinetmaking, he breathes life into materials by stylizing forms inspired by animals or nature. His work is a quest for purity and elegance, where the curve is the very expression of life, capturing the vitality and poetry of a bird taking flight or an aquatic dive, inviting a timeless, meditative experience.
