IN THE SKY OF PARIS
From March 28th to April 29th, 2024, I presetn three artists, who once again complement and compliment each other.
A look at the poetry of everyday life which reveals itself in the simplest details, in the ephemeral moments which often escape our hurried attention.
Caroline Lopez explores the roofs of Paris, through her sketches, deconstructing them to better recompose them, assembling them with precision.
She wants to offer us a strong, personal and unique look at a neighborhood, a place, a landscape. . . in pencil, ink or paint. Her work awakens our gaze and invites us to observe with new eyes.
Jean-Pierre Lebureau is a renowned ornamentalist. He embellishes the same roofs with magnificent zinc creations. Best worker in France, for several years he has been developing more personal sculptures where his creativity can be fully expressed. His animal sculptures, such as seagulls, manta rays, sharks, herons, sparrows, are distinguished by the lightness and poetry given to them by the material and the finesse of their execution.
Jon Helip enriches this exhibition with delicate creations in ocean wood. He gives life to statuary imbued with poetry and grace, transfiguring the wounds of wood carried by the waves into stories populated by characters and birds focused on the inner joy of having gone through the great ordeal.
